| The Masters' pledge |

| As the dark clouds of war gather and obscure the sunlit sky of peace, the response of humanity is twofold: mute acceptance and compliance with the will of the warmongers, or active and spirited resistance to their plans and ploys. Today, we see both reactions in equal measure. Half the world is caught up in the glamour of ‘a war against terrorism’ (without recognizing the underlying cause) and in terrorism itself. The other half deplores both terrorism and the lack of understanding of its genesis. They know that changes, on a major scale, alone hold the key to ending this atrocious evil, and call to the leaders of nations to recognize and address the inequalities which so unfairly divide the world. |
| This latter group must grow and increase their resistance to the plans of those, now in power, who so threaten the stability of the world. They must find each other and work together, knowing that they work and speak for the vast but silent majority who share their longing for peace and manifested justice. |
| Peace will only come when justice reigns, when sharing has opened men’s hearts and awakened them to trust. Thus men must work and speak loudly for justice and sharing which alone will bring an end to men’s suffering, to terrorism and war. We, your Elder Brothers, are ready to do Our part. We will potentize all actions taken on behalf of the Common Good. We await the opportunity to manifest Our strength; to help to right the wrongs of the past; to show men the uselessness of war. We pledge our support of all who call for an end to war, for the restoration of sanity and balance in the affairs of men, for the creation of justice and freedom for all. |
| Help Us to help you. Help Us to do Our part. We long to act, as always, in the interest of the Common Good, which, in Our understanding, is the best interests of all men. Thus it is that We advocate sharing; thus do We advise justice; thus do We see freedom and peace as the culmination of sharing and justice. |
| Let us work together for the rescue of this world. Let us abandon differences in the interests of the race. Let sanity triumph and bring men to see their mutual need for peace, and the restoration of an ailing world. |
| Many await the future in dread, fearful that man has lost his way, that it is now too late to find the path to peace. We counsel otherwise. We know that the path to peace is simply found, needing only the creation of justice and trust. We know that sharing alone will engender that trust, and bring men to abandon both terrorism and war. Thus will it be, and thus will men respond to Maitreya’s message of Brotherhood and Justice, free at last from the glamours of fear and mistrust, ready to create the future in deed and in joy. |

Not new. Not unfamiliar. Not even printed in this issue apart from on this page, but the concept of shared responsibility and oneness encapsulates everything Share International stands for and aims to convey, directly and indirectly. These statements were made by Maitreya in his Messages, by Benjamin Creme and his Master, by the Master Djwhal Khul and by a spokesman for Maitreya or one of the Masters. If ever there were a time for humanity to live by and act on these precepts it is now. We need to take action, in unison, in solidarity to give justice and peace a chance of being an established reality in every corner of the world.

Every crisis, each dilemma that challenges humanity’s moral compass needs the mass of extraordinary ordinary people to join together and make the voice of reason and compassion heard. We need ‘us’ – people power – to create the right conditions for freedom and equality to have any chance. If the future is to belong to us at all, it depends on people power. In that collective act is hope that will make a bright future possible. Hope lies in our conscious choice to act on behalf of humanity and our future, of sharing and justice on which peace can be built. Hope lies in knowing Maitreya and the Masters are here to inspire, to galvanize and support every effort towards brotherhood.

A part of Maitreya’s list of priorities essential to the needs of every man, woman and child is the need for adequate health care. The end of 2023 marked a significant year of progress despite systemic challenges brought on by commercialization within the industry. Amazingly, three nations throughout the world were able to declare the defeat of debilitating and deadly diseases including Bangladesh (visceral leishmaniasis), Iraq (trachoma) and Belize (malaria). Breakthroughs in mRNA technology may soon eradicate certain types of cancer, and the use of AI has supercharged the discovery of new drugs while 3D printing is establishing new pathways in treating certain degenerative diseases. Two new drugs found to slow the progress of Alzheimer’s have delivered the first generation of treatments for the disease, and medical research has identified up to 80 healthy lifestyle habits that can slow ageing and add up to 24 years to the average individual’s life. The coming decade promises to bring leapfrogging solutions to issues; some of which have challenged the medical community for centuries.

| The experience of sanctity on Day of Declaration |
“ | [On the Day of Declaration] The sense that life is sacred will be renewed in people’s minds and hearts. For a time, no one will want to disturb the feeling that we have seen life in a new way, that it is sacred, sanctified, and it is up to us to demonstrate that: to get rid of all the mess that prevents that sanctity from demonstrating. Maitreya will tie together the political, economic and social problems with the demonstration of the sanctity of life. People will grasp that, and will ‘walk on tiptoe for a time.’ It is beautiful. Soon, however, men will realize that it is not so easy; the problems will still be there. Just because the Christ is in the world, you cannot turn away from the problems, which are real. We are living on the physical plane, and though, for a time, people will experience divine sanctity and know that to be the true quality of life, they will also know that to demonstrate that sanctity, life on the physical plane must be changed. No longer can we watch millions of people slaughtering each other, or starving to death in the midst of plenty. |

Reappearance presentation at Theosophical Society in Seattle
|
|
|
On Sunday, December 3, 2023, a talk entitled “Are Modern Day Miracles Signs of a Coming Renaissance?” was presented at the Seattle Theosophical Society Library by Cielito Pascual. This was the second of two well-attended presentations given in 2023 focusing on the Reappearance. Both an in-person and a live Zoom event, the talk focused on miracles as evidence of the interaction of Maitreya the World Teacher and the Masters of Wisdom with ordinary people. Co-workers throughout Washington and Oregon helped distribute postcards to promote the talk. Two audience members attended a face-to-face Transmission Meditation for the first time the following week.

A compelling feature included recordings of people relating miraculous events confirmed by Benjamin Creme and excerpted from Elisa Graf's podcast, Mystic Takeaway. An additional story, which contained the hallmarks of an encounter with Maitreya, was related to Cielito directly by a friend and had occurred a month previously.

Soul Search

|
This is an event sponsor that hosts talks/booths in multiple cities throughout California and Arizona – similar to New Earth Expos. Our Northern California group has participated in several of their events, and Southern California is following suit. Their recent attendance in Phoenix was considered a “solid event.” The Saturday talk drew about 10 people, and the Sunday meditation about 25 people. Our booth was consistently busy. The qualification is that this was said to be their best event. We have found Phoenix to have a more grounded, focused spiritual community and a place where few well-organized spiritual events happen.

A timely exhibit
|
|
|
The Norton Simon Museum, a prestigious gallery in Los Angeles, is currently displaying a special exhibit entitled Benevolent Beings: Buddhas and Bodhisattvas from South and Southeast Asia. It brings together 44 rarely seen works of art from their collections – including six of Maitreya – to explore the diverse ways in which buddhas, bodhisattvas and other protective deities have been seen to offer blessings, guidance and security to their devotees. This seems a particularly important moment to introduce a mainstream Western audience to these great Beings – at least one of whom we expect will be working openly with us.
