| From Pisces to Aquarius |

| Within the present era there are many things which must be preserved, for we must not forget that the Age of Pisces, now fast fading into history, has bequeathed to us much of value and worth. Of course, the great quality of Individuality can be cited as the glory of Pisces, but there are other gifts owed to the Piscean experience of the last 2,000 years. |
| A new and more potent idealism has enriched the hearts and minds of millions, thus causing the birth and spread of the world’s great religions with their essentially nourishing and civilising thought. The urge to know, to travel and to trade flourished as never before, and a new world, literally, appeared to men’s astonished eyes. Inevitably, early trade became greedy exploitation and annexation; thus, as always, the empires grew and waxed rich and strong. Often, the conquering heroes felt – wrongly, but sometimes rightly – that they had a civilising and enlightening mission, that the “savages” needed “saving”, and the gold and spices were not the real reason for their presence far from home. This was indeed so in many cases. The urge to know and to apply that knowledge is evident in the work of Leonardo Da Vinci, whose scientific explorations have led to the advance of modern medicine and even to modern aircraft and space exploration. All of this and more results from the Piscean experience. |
| If individuality was Pisces’ greatest gift, today as we enter the new Age of Aquarius, the misuse of that same individuality has become man’s greatest danger and threat. Throughout the world, powerful individuals, governments and institutions hold millions in thrall. In these circumstances, men have become pawns, held at ransom to the vagaries of the market. Institutions of all kinds – governments, banks and corporations – have reduced the shining individuality of their workers to passive obedience. Elsewhere, others starve and die in silence, or slave for a daily pittance, while the rich add riches to their unholy hoard. |
| This divisive norm is driving men to the edge of destruction and presents them with a historic choice: to continue thus and end, for ever, man’s sojourn on Planet Earth or to change direction completely. Already, the signs are there that men have seen the danger and, throughout the world, are awakening to a new dawn. The shining light of Aquarius is entering their hearts, and the cries of justice and freedom rise readily to their lips. This same justice through sharing will bring men out of their darkness and lift them onwards to their destined goal. Thus shall it be. |

“Perhaps many readers will be relieved to close the door on 2024. And yet it has taught us a lot, at least in potential. So many lessons in fact that we need time to reflect and come to terms with new realities and their implications for our future.
|

This issue of Share International is full of wise words. If only they could be heard and understood by our leaders and throughout our communities! If the ideas and principles we present and repeat – they truly are our persistent mantrams – could be taken to heart and acted on, what a new and beautiful, sane world we could create! The jury is still out on the question of how long it will take the world to wake up to the very obvious need for sharing, justice, right human relations. But, to quote Maitreya: what is certain is that all will be well. Maitreya will be known by all – eventually – once we make the needed changes and begin implementing his priorities, seeing them as our priorities for a world which loves truth, loves peace and sees itself as One.

Maitreya sees all people as members of one family, thereby prioritizing the human right of all for nourishing food, safe housing, effective medical care and all the education needed for individual sustenance and self-development. Beyond these come environmental restoration and the preservation of nature in its myriad forms.

|
While the time ahead will be (is already) flooded with disturbing news, it is also the case that the world is (and will continue to be) filled with good people doing good – often extraordinary – things. Most of it will never be reported in the mainstream media but is regularly featured by a host of positive news sources such as Fix the News, Good News Network, and Positive.news (just Google “good news sources” for more). In this section of our newsletter we will continue to give you a tiny sampling of what’s happening right in the world and in support of Maitreya’s priorities. In the meantime, we highly recommend that you seriously ration your consumption of mainstream news/social media posts and switch your diet to one or more of the positive outlets.

| Aquarius energizes global oneness |
“ | The energies of Pisces and the energies of Aquarius are, as far as we are concerned, more or less equal, and that is our problem. The energies of Pisces are being withdrawn and have left all the structures that were built under their influence: political, economic, religious, social, scientific, educational, cultural and so on. All these structures have become crystallized. They are extant, but they no longer have the energy that brought them into being, so they do not work any more. As we have responded to the energies of Pisces, they have completely split the world into tiny fragmented parts. The energies of Aquarius, which are mounting in potency with every day that passes, work on us in a very different way. They have a completely different effect on humanity. They are the energies of synthesis. As the energies of Pisces have divided the world, the energies of Aquarius will draw humanity together, blending and fusing humanity into one group. |

SoulSearch Expo in San Rafael
|
|
|
On the weekend of October 5-6, the Northwest region participated in a SoulSearch “Enlightenment Expo” in San Rafael, California. Aside from the much larger New Living Expo where we have a booth annually, the Soul Search events are the only general New Age expos in the San Francisco Bay area.
|
|
In our talk, we introduced Benjamin Creme and the emergence of Maitreya; played four short extracts from Maitreya’s messages with the theme of the coming new civilization and cities of beauty; and demonstrated Transmission Meditation. From the responses during the talk, the audience is very concerned about the current chaos and inequities. It was interesting that a lady visiting our booth became very excited when she saw the “Solar Angel” mandala — she said that was what she had experienced herself.

Southern California’s busy month
|
|
|
The Taste of Soul Crenshaw was quite a large event, with visitors continually streaming by from early in the morning to 7 pm. Many people stopped to talk, showing a lot of interest in our booth. The SI Editor’s “Dear America” letter impressed many visitors, opening the door to fuller discussions of our need and gratitude for Maitreya’s presence in the world, although as yet “incognito.” People were relieved to know of the real possibility of his stepping forward at some point, based on the strength of our call for his help.

Like most San Fernando Valley events post-Covid, the Sherman Oaks Street Fair had been disappointing in recent years, but surprisingly interest was the best ever this year. A favorite occurrence was a moment when co-workers Adrian and John made a comment quietly that they had not had a Mexican woman prayer warrior for a long time. Right then there were five young Latino ladies passing by the booth, not looking at it. Immediately after making the statement to themselves, the tall one did a 180-turn and came directly to them from about 10 feet away and asked about our story. They asked and received!

Attendance at the Orange County Vegfest was down from past years but still very well attended. The energy level was very high, and those who stopped to talk seemed really interested in our story. The conversations tended to be longer than usual.
|
|
Members of the second San Diego group also participated in the San Diego Spiritual and Healing Arts Fair and the “Boo by the Bay” Vegan Food Fest along with regular talks and booths each month at New Earth Conferences throughout Southern California. (A report from them next month!)

The times we are now entering will offer aspirants and disciples, as well as ordinary citizens everywhere, unprecedented challenges. This seems a good moment for serious review of one’s individual priorities – both inner and outer – to create a solid plan for managing the opportunities, the tests and for being the most useful.
One of the most effective inner ways is Transmission Meditation – a group activity offering our individual souls a means to serve the Plan of God – the very purpose for their coming into incarnation. The meditation is the creation, in cooperation with the Hierarchy of Masters, of a vortex or pool of higher energy for the benefit of humanity.

| At the Feet of the Master |
|
|
This small, profound book was written in 1910 by Jiddu Krishnamurti – then 14 years of age – under the name Alcyone (the name of the brightest star in the Pleiades). The teachings contained in it were given to him by his Master in preparing him for Initiation.
|
|
The four qualifications for this pathway are described under the categories Discrimination, Desirelessness, Good Conduct, and Love. His final words offer this advice:
|
|
“The wisdom which enables you to help, the will which directs the wisdom, the love which inspires the will – these are your qualifications. Will, Wisdom and Love are three aspects of the Logos; and you, who wish to enroll yourselves to serve Him, must show forth these aspects in the world.”
|
|
|
At this crucial time in history, and to be of the most help to Maitreya and the Masters as they prepare to live openly among us, we might look regularly to these invaluable words to guide our thoughts and actions. Combined with outer service along any positive line, one can remain poised and focused on the needs of any hour.
|
|
|
|
