Each year, as the Spring months approach, Hierarchy makes preparation for the three Spring Festivals of April, May and June. Every year, as the time draws near, plans are set in motion to enable those who seek the Light and wish to serve to do so more fully and more effectively. During this Spring We intend to make a major manifestation. Throughout these months, energies of enormous potency will flow outwards to the world. Their heightened power will facilitate certain rapprochements much needed today, and great efforts will be made to canalize the goodwill of millions. In this way it is hoped to effect great changes in human affairs, and to prevent a further slide into chaos and war.

This time of heightened activity We call a Spiritual Push, and during this period all spiritual activity will be potentized many-fold. Spiritual action of all kinds, stemming from whatever tradition or belief, will find enhancement during these months, and much can be achieved if full use is made of this opportunity. It behooves all those who desire to serve and to make better the world to contact and use these forces and so make them manifest in their lives.

We seek to establish among men a new sense of shared responsibility. We seek to awaken in them a taste for concerted action. We endeavor to create the conditions in which these two can manifest together and thus lead to change. All is energy; energy alone exists. Through the impact of these higher energies on the Center, humanity, We seek to engender a new atmosphere in the world. Help us to create conditions of trust and so bring renewed hope to the world. Sow the seeds of love and trust and watch them blossom as hope and joy.

Everyone can do something to ease the pain of his brothers. Take stock of where you stand and see what you should do. Pledge, now your support for every act of sacrifice and contribute your share thereto. Make this time a time of giving; let your will to serve have full expression.

Know that as you serve you work towards the Light and align more correctly with the purpose of your soul. Take your stand with Us and allow the dreams of men to come true. Take your stand with Us and be assured of Our stimulus and help. Take your stand at Our side and perform deeds you thought impossible to achieve.

When you see Maitreya you will know that the moment of decision for the world has come. He will call for action from all who would save the world. Join the ranks of those who act and serve, and enter the mainstream of the Great Current of life.

|
The time has come, as never before, to act in accordance with your professed ideals, and to make manifest the vision enshrined in your heart. Know that you are not alone; that millions embrace these same ideals. Join Hands with all who seek to serve and spin a web of light around the world. Remember that you are in the world to serve and that only through service can you grow. Remember that you are your brother's keeper and accept responsibility for your brother's needs. Present yourselves, as never before, as channels through whom We may work, as transformers of the mighty potencies which will shortly flow to you.

In this way you can set the seal of service on this life and in due course join the ranks of those Who have gone before you.

The Master – is a senior member of the Hierarchy of the Masters of Wisdom. His name, well-known in esoteric circles, has not yet been revealed for various reasons. Benjamin Creme is in telepathic contact with this Master who dictated this article to him.

Easter Festival (Aries) – April 6
|
|
The first festival of spring marks a process of rebirth and revitalization. It is celebrated at the full moon in Aries, after the vernal equinox, and usually occurs in April. In the Christian tradition, it is called Easter, the festival of resurrection. It celebrates the risen Christ, but resurrection implies more than the one-time arising from the grave of the physical body. In each minute of each hour, we have the possibility to be born anew, to let go of the past and move on. When old patterns of thought and emotion are discarded, when old habits and beliefs are outgrown and set aside, we are free to meet every new situation unconditionally. Higher energies rush in to fill the place of expectancy that we have created, and the inner light expands. We open to life more abundant and are made new.

The Wesak Festival (Taurus) – May 5
|
|
The festival of Wesak occurs at the time of the full moon in Taurus, usually in May. In the East, it commemorates the enlightenment of the Buddha and is widely celebrated. Wesak marks the high-point in the spiritual year, for it is said that at this time each year, the Buddha returns to the physical plane for a brief moment, bringing an inflow of life and spiritual stimulation to vitalize all of humanity. Thousands of pilgrims gather every year in a remote valley in the Himalayas to re-enact an ancient sacred ceremony based on the legend of Wesak, which has to do with the sharing of the waters of life.

Festival of the Christ/The Festival of Goodwill (Gemini) – June 3
|
|
This will be the Festival of the spirit of humanity aspiring towards God, seeking conformity with the will of God and dedicated to the expression of right human relations. This will be fixed annually in relation to the Full Moon of June. It will be a day whereon the spiritual and divine nature of mankind will be recognised. On this Festival for two thousand years the Christ has represented humanity and has stood before the Hierarchy and in the sight of Shamballa as the God-Man, the Leader of His people, and "the Eldest in a great family of brothers" (Romans VIII: 29). Each year at that time He has preached the last sermon of the Buddha, before the assembled Hierarchy. This will, therefore, be a festival of deep invocation and appeal, of a basic aspiration towards fellowship, of human and spiritual unity, and will represent the effect in the human consciousness of the work of the Buddha and of the Christ.

On the day of the full moon, groups throughout the world link up mentally to form a conduit through which these great spiritual energies can reach humanity. You are invited to take part in this world service with these simple steps:

Sit in a comfortable position, with head upright and spine straight.
|

To start the meditation, close your eyes, focus your attention at the ajna center (between the eyebrows) and say “The Great Invocation” aloud.
|

Visualize yourself connected to a vast network of triangles surrounding the globe.
|
| • |
Keep your attention at the ajna center throughout the meditation. If your attention drops or your mind wanders, silently and inwardly think the mantram “OM” to refocus. Don’t meditate on “OM”, but simply use it to refocus when needed.
|

Meditate for as long as you can on this day, but do not direct the energy anywhere. The Masters of Wisdom will know where it is needed most.
