The path of Love and Peace |
by the Master –, through Benjamin Creme |
Fortunately for man, he is never left without help when it is needed. However difficult the circumstances, however great and grave the dangers which he faces, of one thing he can be sure: he will never be abandoned by his Elder Brothers. Time after time in men’s long history, when all seemed lost and the future of man perilously unsure, Our succour has been forthcoming and the forward path of men restored once more. So it is today at this tumultuous time when men stand in a maelstrom of warring forces, unsure of the next step and all but overwhelmed by the enormity of the task ahead.
Emerging from Our ancient retreats, We redirect Our thoughts and steps to aid Our struggling brothers. To show, by example, that all is not lost, that another, and better, way exists for men to organize their lives; that unity and happiness come from justice and freedom; that sharing is the natural action of unity and the simple answer to all man’s woes.
Men must desire the gift of Wisdom We have to give. The Great Law does not allow its imposition. Thus do men require to look clearly at the dangers which beset them, and so make their decision and choice.

Spring Festivals
|
During the spring full moons, spiritual energies are at their most powerful because of the sun–moon–earth alignment and the potency of these ancient festivals. Group meditation, and particularly Transmission Meditation, provides a unique opportunity for us to invoke these evolutionary energies for spiritual service—something especially helpful during this time of planetary transformation. You are invited and encouraged to link up mentally with any Share International group at the time they have chosen or simply use the days of the full moons for your own meditation. Below we have provided a brief description of each Festival, the dates of the remaining spring full moons, and some simple meditation guidelines for those who wish to participate.
Easter Festival (Aries) Date: March 28 "The first festival of spring marks a process of rebirth and revitalization. It is celebrated at the full moon in Aries, after the vernal equinox, and usually occurs in April. In the Christian tradition, it is called Easter, the festival of resurrection. It celebrates the risen Christ, but resurrection implies more than the one-time arising from the grave of the physical body. In each minute of each hour, we have the possibility to be born anew, to let go of the past and move on. When old patterns of thought and emotion are discarded, when old habits and beliefs are outgrown and set aside, we are free to meet every new situation unconditionally. Higher energies rush in to fill the place of expectancy that we have created, and the inner light expands. We open to life more abundant and are made new."
The Wesak Festival (Taurus) Date: April 27 "The festival of Wesak occurs at the time of the full moon in Taurus, usually in May. In the East, it commemorates the enlightenment of the Buddha and is widely celebrated. Wesak marks the high-point in the spiritual year, for it is said that at this time each year, the Buddha returns to the physical plane for a brief moment, bringing an inflow of life and spiritual stimulation to vitalize all of humanity. Thousands of pilgrims gather every year in a remote valley in the Himalayas to re-enact an ancient sacred ceremony based on the legend of Wesak, which has to do with the sharing of the waters of life."
Festival of the Christ/The Festival of Goodwill (Gemini) Date: May 26 "This will be the Festival of the spirit of humanity aspiring towards God, seeking conformity with the will of God and dedicated to the expression of right human relations. This will be fixed annually in relation to the Full Moon of June. It will be a day whereon the spiritual and divine nature of mankind will be recognised. On this Festival for two thousand years the Christ has represented humanity and has stood before the Hierarchy and in the sight of Shamballa as the God-Man, the Leader of His people, and "the Eldest in a great family of brothers" (Romans VIII: 29). Each year at that time He has preached the last sermon of the Buddha, before the assembled Hierarchy. This will, therefore, be a festival of deep invocation and appeal, of a basic aspiration towards fellowship, of human and spiritual unity, and will represent the effect in the human consciousness of the work of the Buddha and of the Christ." (The above quotes are from The Reappearance of the Christ by Alice Bailey, pp. 154-157)
On the day of the full moon, groups throughout the world link up mentally to form a conduit through which these great spiritual energies can reach humanity. You are invited to take part in this world service with these simple steps:
- Sit in a comfortable position, with head upright and spine straight.
- To start the meditation, close your eyes, focus your attention at the ajna center (between the eyebrows) and say "The Great Invocation" aloud.
- Visualize yourself connected to a vast network of triangles surrounding the globe.
- Keep your attention at the ajna center throughout the meditation. If your attention drops or your mind wanders, silently and inwardly think the mantram "OM" to refocus. Don’t meditate on “OM”, but simply use it to refocus when needed.
- Meditate for as long as you can on this day, but do not direct the energy anywhere. The Masters of Wisdom will know where it is needed most.

Q & A with Benjamin Creme |
Q. If you could bring it down to one thing what would you say is the main guiding principle that characterizes the new age?
A. That will be the principle of synthesis. We will learn to synthesise all aspects of our lives and the whole of humanity into one group – the age-old dream of the brotherhood of men will become a reality for the first time, and the main instigating force to bring about this synthesis in the first place, will be the acceptance that we are one, brothers and sisters of one humanity and of the one Divine Source; and therefore the sharing of the resources of the world will become the most natural thing in the world – as we do in the family, share whatever the family has, so the human family will recognize the need to share; that is the first step. |

Transmission Meditation
Q&A with Benjamin Creme
What is the real purpose of meditation?
Meditation is a method, more or less scientific (depending on the meditation), for bringing the man or woman in incarnation into contact and eventual at-one-ment with the Higher Self or soul. The time has passed for meditating alone, getting on with one's own personal spiritual salvation, without at the same time accepting the need, the duty, of service. The nature of the soul is to serve. The soul knows only altruistic service and comes into incarnation to serve. So what is the point, as a meditator, of spending all that time and effort getting in touch with the soul and not carrying out its purpose? The soul is carrying out the Plan of the Logos. It is a great sacrifice for the soul to do so, because it is so limited at this physical level. It gains experience at this level, but the true reason behind the incarnating process is the carrying out of the Will of the Logos through the sacrificial decision of the soul itself....
All those who have engaged in meditation will have been engaged, whether they know it or not, in aligning the physical brain with the soul -- the personality vehicle with the Higher Self. That is what meditation is for.
We encourage you to first learn about the meditation from the sources below, and then connect with the meditation group coordinator for your region (see regional links above) to find out how to participate in a Transmission Meditation. You'll receive a referral to any groups near you as well as to a national Zoom call to actually experience the meditation.
